one of our shelter dogs, this gorgeous Rottie is nothing like his name. sweet tempered and friendly to pple. i drew him for my friend who was extremely attached to him. sadly, he had to be put to sleep this afternoon as he was suffering too badly.

Awww... :( I'd do anything to own a Rottie but we already have 2 dogs.. If I could, I would have taken him and changed his name. ;)

I'm so sorry. It's sad that there are so many dogs who never get a home and love they deserve. At least this one won't be forgotten and has a masterpiece portrait of himself!! :heart:

i'm a huge fan of rotties.. got one myself..a 9 year old male who's becoming a bit grumpy but still as sweet as ever.

rotties are the sweetest most loyal dogs you can find.. (IF you raise them normal.. but i guess that goes for every dogtype :))

The one i have already rolls on his back if you only point at him.(or if you say "show me nuts" but thats a different thing hehehe)

anyway nice one.

You said shelter dog? you mean it still is in a shelter?

yups. he was given up by his owner, so one of our staff who looked after him, took him as her "son". sadly, she had to make the decision to put him to sleep yesterday.=(
